Website: little beginnings
A new companion-led website introduces Little Leaf through its mascot, a focus-to-growth time-lapse, six room previews, plants, sounds and a journal. Help, website-access details and backup guidance remain available.
A LITTLE HELP ALONG THE WAY
Backups, beta details and a place to prepare feedback.
KEEP A LITTLE COPY
Different browsers, website addresses and the desktop app have separate local gardens. Export from the old location before moving.
Open backup settingsABOUT THIS BETA
The browser beta is publicly accessible. You can open it without a hosting invitation.
Guest play needs no Little Leaf account. Accounts require an email and password; a username can wait until you use Friends.
Live email verification, cloud backups and co-op setup is still being completed. Guest gardens and exported backups work independently.
WINDOWS TESTING EDITION
The Windows installer is shared privately. Ask the person who shared Little Leaf with you for the approved testing file. A public download is not available yet.
Automatic updates are not connected. Website edits do not update an installed desktop copy. Use the approved replacement installer when a new desktop version is released.
Closing the window keeps the timer in the tray. Use Little Leaf → Quit to close it completely. Transfer gardens between web and desktop with an exported backup.
The testing installer is unsigned. Its earlier browser-warning investigation remains unresolved; a passing antivirus check does not establish browser clearance. Signing and public distribution remain unfinished.
WHAT YOU CHOOSE TO SHARE
Guest play: plants, tasks, journals, preferences and progress stay on this device. Clearing browser data can remove that copy.
Cloud backup: choosing Save a cloud copy sends your garden, including tasks and journals, to your account's private cloud storage. Cloud copies are manual; signing in does not replace a device garden automatically.
Friends and rooms: sharing is optional. Friends see the profile and artwork you choose to share; plant nicknames are optional. Rooms share limited artwork, presence and session timing. Tasks, journals, email and Leaf Token balances are excluded from friend showcases and rooms.
Feedback: stays on this page until you copy it. It never attaches a garden or sends a report automatically.
A LITTLE RECORD OF CHANGE
Browser build 2026.10.12-little-beginnings · Updated 12 October 2026
A new companion-led website introduces Little Leaf through its mascot, a focus-to-growth time-lapse, six room previews, plants, sounds and a journal. Help, website-access details and backup guidance remain available.
Tutorial packets now use the real paper and seed animations. Plants have idle actions, care and rewards animate, and rooms have quiet details. Optional short sounds have their own controls.
The private desktop release is a fixed installer snapshot. Website edits and development builds are separate. Future desktop releases happen only when approved by the owner.
